agency support
Connecting California Families (CCF) is dedicated to strengthening the foundation of quality child care throughout the state. We go beyond standard support by actively integrating and leveraging the comprehensive expertise and resources of the entire Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) team. We serve as a vital link, ensuring that our participating child care agencies receive intensive, additional support and specialized services. This collaboration allows us to effectively tap into the collective strengths and capacity of the greater CCRC, ultimately helping agencies thrive and deliver the highest quality care to the California families who rely on them.
The Power of Strategic Communications
CCRC’s Communications team provides individualized technical assistance, training, and support to child care agencies in the areas of marketing design, development, and multimedia production to improve community outreach, and strengthen uniform messaging.

Brand Development
To streamline the process of creating marketing assets, without losing quality, CCRC designers establish a cohesive brand look and feel for marketing flyers, presentation, and training materials. A strong unified brand creates trust between the organization and its audience.

Message Amplification
Our marketing toolkits establish key messages for specific audiences in the forms of social media captions and sample emails. Agencies alter their content to meet their unique tone and voice. To help amplify awareness to a campaign, a timeline is recommended to ensure that messages reach the intended audience through multiple touchpoints.

Celebrating Success
To showcase the program’s success stories and their journey, we produce and publish videos that highlight the child care providers and Trauma Informed Care facilitators’ experience in the program. These videos bring awareness, share challenges and victories, and offer opportunities for viewers to learn more.

Connect & Elevate
Our Marketing and Communications conferences bring together leaders in early education to learn from each other, share new marketing strategies, and discover new ways to strengthen children and families across the state.
Applying Data-Driven Research
CCRC’s Research Division supports CCF by bringing key initiatives like Parent Cafés and Trauma Informed Care (TIC) to life through data-driven techniques. Research uses data, stories, and strategy to create a clearer, more equitable picture of what’s happening across the state.
By gathering input from families, providers, and agencies, Research helps ensure that every voice, especially those too often left out, is heard, valued, and reflected in decision-making. Research tells stories that move systems toward equity.

Data Evaluation
We analyze trends, measure impact, and track progress over time to understand what’s working and where we can improve.

Participant Surveys
We design surveys to gather feedback from families, providers, and partners to ensure real voices shape programs, policies, and outcomes that matter

Informational Briefs
We translate complex data into clear, accessible snapshots to help stakeholders quickly understand key findings and make informed decisions

GIS & Mapping
We use interactive maps to visualize data across regions to make it easier to spot trends, gaps, and opportunities to better serve families statewide.
