Our Partnerships

Tribal Child Care Association of California

In 2022, California Connecting Families (CCF) partnered with the Tribal Child Care Association of California (TCCAC) to create a Strengthening Families Parent Café workforce pathway that offers in-person and virtual trainings for pathway participants in tribal communities.

TCCAC is a statewide network that advocates for and supports the unique early learning and child care needs of tribal communities across California. The TCCAC communities throughout California have expanded from eight different counties across California, including: Alameda, Contra Costa, Inyo, Mendocino, San Diego, Shasta, and Tehama.

Since 2023, 74 Cafes were delivered to 1,082 tribal community member across eight counties.

Every time I hear about what is happening as a result of this program at the Redding Rancheria I am so excited. After being at that school for six years, I can easily say that this has had the greatest impact on parent involvement that I have ever seen by far! You provided the tools and Angie has really made it come to life. I just thought [sic] you should know about the impact you are making in tribal communities. Thank you for everything you do.
